LADIES - Sheila and her hunting partner Liz Berthod (also in contest) were on a "girls only" hunt and found this guy laying in tall grass under a Russian Olive tree. Thinking he was totally hidden, Sheila spotted him from 325 yards out. A coyote was trotting around in the area that the buck was watching, so Sheila was able to sneak up to 165 yards to shoot – Sheila said he never even knew they were in the area and never got up! Great job Sheila and what a memorable experience. Congrats! |

16 0z. soy sauce-------[ La Choy ]
2 0z. liquid smoke
2 0z. Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon black pepper
2 0z. hot sauce
Mix all ingredients in bowl. Add meat [8 - 10 lbs] piece by piece, Soak over night in fridge. Lay on trays and sprinkle with black pepper then dry and enjoy :)

1/3 c. wine vinegar
3 tbsp. salad oil
1 tbsp. minced onion or 1/4 c. chopped onion
1/8 tsp. garlic powder or 1 clove garlic, crushed
1/4 tsp. rosemary
1/4 tsp. oregano
1/4 tsp. dried dill weed
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. paprika
2 tbsp. honey or brown sugar
1 tbsp. parsley
1 tsp. season salt
Combine ingredients. Pour over steak. Marinate several hours or overnight. Turn meat several times. Enjoy! |
