Martin Lopez RIFLE - ABSOLUTELY AMAZING BUCK! Martin, who was very humbled by his harvest said, "I was fortunate to harvest this amazing buck this year and it was truely an amazing experience." Found four days after the season ended last year, Martin and his hunting buddy were anxious for the 2010 season to get underway. Although he had an idea where he might be, Martin said it took him three and a half weeks to kill him. "I chased him during archery season and twice was able to get within 100 yards of him but could never seal the deal." Once rifle opened, Martin added that it was like this buck had a hunting calendar in his head and wasn't anywhere to be found. Finally this once in a lifetime showed himself and from 350 yards away Martin used his .300 to make his memorable kill. Scoring is 40" wide, 22" tall and 26 scoreable points!!! Martin added that this buck has been green scored at 270. Deer hunting was good to the Larsen youth in 2010 as Maegon's brother Morgan also harvested a nice buck, which is also featured in this years' contest. CONGRATS Maegon on what is hopefully your first of many harvests! EDITOR'S NOTE: A special thanks to Maegon and Morgan's Dad and Mom, who are raising two very polite young people and are doing a fine job teaching the next generation of Wyoming hunters.
